Manufactured with exterior-rated components and fabrics, Exterior Shades are installed to the outside of your window or patio to block the sunrays before they reach your window, greatly reducing air-conditioning costs. Just like standard Solar Shades, Exterior Solar Shades maintain your view to the outside while protecting your interior from UV rays and reducing glare. Choose darker colors for a better view, lighter colors for better temperature control. Add a cassette valance to your window treatment to create a unique visual effect

  • The fabric on roller shades will be narrower than the width ordered to accommodate the hardware at each end of the roller shade.
  • Styles Shoji, Boxwood, Tropics & Vineyard are limited to 96" width
  • Solar shades do not provide nighttime privacy - lighted interiors allow inward visibility; if complete privacy is desired, consider adding an inside window treatment
  • Fabric is 25% polyester and 75% vinyl on polyester and is GreenGuard certified and fire resistant rated (NFPA 701)
  • Microban certified
  • Includes all hardware necessary for installation, including wood screws; additional hardware (not included) may be required for stucco and other surfaces
  • Premium fabric-wrapped bottom rail included standard
  • Five year limited warranty
